Casey the manager brought us out numerous appetizers and glasses or champagne. He even sat down at our table to talk with us. We have never had an experience at a restaurant like we did here. “ Girls night out...our server Gina went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable! Drinks were refreshing(try Pinky on the Brain), and food was on point. Started with their bread and dipping oil...yum! Three of us had the eggplant parmigiana and three had chicken franchise. Both entrees were delicious and filling. Finished off with tartufo for dessert . Decor inside is elegant but you can dress comfortably. Also outdoor seating looked great...just too hot tonight. Definitely will go back! ”
“ My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit & have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose the Blu Grotto for Oceanport, our 117th town. The Blu Grotto has an indoor restaurant which is more upscale, and an outdoor patio with live music that is more casual fare. We enjoyed a late summer evening with The Nerds playing on the outdoor patio, which is on the grounds of the Monmouth Park Racetrack. We kicked off with a rum bucket & Kentucky mule cocktails, followed by spring rolls & a seaweed salad for starters. Then had a variety of maki rolls. All was tasty, and the music made for a fun night out. ”
